The Ambush Tundra knife is, without doubt, one of the finest bushcraft, field, and hunting knives that money can buy. Why is it so good? We started by giving it the most comfortable handle you can find. This handle, the same type used on the Bark River "Aurora", is famous for its incredible comfort and secure grip. We then added an amazingly versatile Canadian "Leaf" style blade, perfectly suited for numerous bushcraft and skinning tasks. We finish out this fantastic package by using tough and resiliant 3V super steel, famous for holding an edge and resisting corrosion. The result? The Tundra is a knife you will be proud to own and use, a quality product seldom found elsewhere at any price! Still not convinced? Then consider our 100% Made in USA quality, unmatched warranty, and your choice of high quality leather or Kydex (for stonewashed versions) sheath included at no extra charge!
The Ambush Tundra measures 9.5" overall, with an ideal blade length of 4.5". Well suited for both small and large tasks, the comfortable grip and superior materials of the Tundra make it a knife to treasure for a lifetime! Yes, it really is that good... you will wonder why this knife did not come along sooner.

Just had the opportunity to take this beautiful knife out into the bush for the first time, and I couldn't be happier. The ergonomics are superb, and the fit and feel/balance makes using this knife all day very easy with no hot spots. The finish and materials are top quality, and I've already had several friends try to steal it off me!

Excellent, excellent, excellent!! The "convee" edge as I call it is growing on me. It's actually a flat/ vee grind with a convex bevel. Easily sharp enough for food prep, but it really excels at notching , drilling and other bushcraft type tasks. Though I haven't done any batoning with it, I am certain that it's up for the task. Made of tougher than nails CPM3V, this slightly larger than the average knife is actually quite fast in the hand with its just barely handle-heavy balance. On top of being made for a lifetime of hard use, it's gorgeous! I just might have to find a second one now... Seriously, this is a great one.

I like the Tundra very much. I've had a chance to play with some (i.e. processing wood for a fire, building tent pegs, taking the meat from a feral hog) and it is what I had hoped it would be. I was concerned that the blade was 1/2" too long, but that has not proven to be an issue and I'm sure the longer blade will have benefits in some tasks.
Very good knife! And, just FYI, the handle material I selected pretty closely matches the stock on my flintlock rifle.

The Ambush Tundra is a great knife for doing the things that I do with a knife. I don’t do a lot of wood splitting with my knife (although the tundra is capable), primarily I use a knife to carve friction fire sets and deadfall traps. Ideally, I like to carry two knives, one for carving and one for heavier wood work but if you are looking to carry just one knife, and you want a high end rust resistant steel for more wet type environments then the Tundra is a great “one knife” option.
