Quite possibly the perfect all around bushcrafting knife, the Dan Koster Bushmaster is a larger sized field/bushcraft/hunting knife that is a must have for the serious outdoorsman. These knives are not mass produced or built by machines or random folks working for Dan. Each and every one is built by Dan with care and pride. This attention to detail that only a master craftsman can bring to the table shines in the Bushmaster.
Measuring 10” overall with a 5” drop point blade made of premium CPM 3V the Bushmaster will hold an edge very well under field conditions all while exhibiting tremendous toughness and good corrosion resistance. The handles are bead blasted and the blade is stonewashed for a low glare, stylish finish. The spine thickness is .187” at 59-60 HRc hardness with a flat ground blade with thumb grooves. Two flared tubes add a unique design and allow the knife to be lashed to another item. A deluxe leather bushcraft style sheath with a firesteel loop completes this American made classic.
