Produced in a modern, controlled environment with quality steels such as German 1075 carbon steel and 420HC stainless, Condor knives and tools are each hand finished and polished sharp. The quality in this line dates back to the company's roots which go back to 1787 as the Gebr Weyersberg company in Solingen, Germany. In 1964 Gebr Weyersberg established operations in Santa Ana, El Salvador. In 2004 Condor Knife and Tool was born to serve the North American and European Markets. The factory which now operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week is one of the world's largest manufacturers of machetes, shovels and tools. Many of the Condor tools are convex edged for excellent edge retention making them a great choice for bushcrafting, camping and survival situations.
