Koch Tools began in 2014 when Justin Koch, a graphic designer and EDC collector in Central Pennsylvania, designed the original Solo pocket tool for himself and found out everyone else wanted one too. A decade later his one-man design shop turns out titanium pocket tools through water jet cutting, CNC milling, and torch anodizing, with collaborations spanning Carryology, Urban EDC, and Kansept that made his maker's mark one of the most recognized in the EDC world.
The Culprit, Kursor, Solo, and Pry-of-Sorts
The Culprit OG packs a scraper, box opener, prybar, nail puller, and bottle opener into one slab of titanium, brass, or copper. The Kursor prybar adds swappable G-10 scales over anodized titanium frames, with a zirconium version for buyers who want the darkest possible finish, and the P.O.S., which stands for exactly what you hope, rolls a bottle opener, Phillips driver, and prybar into three inches of pocket steel. The Solo line that started the company continues in Cerakoted and heat-anodized Grade 5 titanium, and Koch's numbered variants mean each torch-anodized piece carries a one-of-one pattern no other example shares.
Klasp Carabiners, Lanyard Beads, and the Mud Dauber
The Klasp carabiner leads our current selection, CNC machined titanium with a spring-loaded gate in finishes from stonewash to full flame anodizing, joined by the Treble dangler for zipper pulls and lanyards. Ball-Nose lanyard beads in micarta and Cerakoted aluminum pair naturally with our Combat Beads selection, and the Koch two-pack built for us sits among our DLT exclusives. On the cutting side, the Mud Dauber utility fixed blade runs a single-bevel chisel grind in dual-tone Cerakote with a Kydex sheath, and the Ti Kiridashi covers marking and scoring in anodized titanium, both sized for pocket or neck carry. All of it anchors the metalwork end of our accessories department, where tools this pretty still earn their keep.
