The Piranta, named for the piranha, is the knife that started it: a folding handle built around a replaceable surgical blade, adopted first by guides processing hundreds of animals a season who wanted a scalpel edge without packing sharpening gear. The proprietary 60A blade is 20 percent thicker and 30 percent stronger than a standard surgical scalpel, engineered to survive the twisting loads of field dressing, and it swaps in seconds with the Quik-Change system.
