Buck Knife Sharpeners
The EdgeTek line represents Buck’s knife maintenance system—a range of sharpening tools designed to work across their blade steel offerings from 420HC through MagnaCut.
Diamond sharpeners anchor the EdgeTek system. The Ultra FlipStik Pro provides a portable two-grit solution (coarse/fine) that folds into a carry handle. The diamond surface cuts through hardened steels that would glaze ceramic or Arkansas stones. Field-sized dimensions allow pack carry without significant weight penalty.
Bench stones offer stationary sharpening for workshop use. The EdgeTek Bench Stone provides a single-grit diamond surface in a desktop format with non-slip base. The Medium Bench Stone runs a finer grit for finishing edges after coarse work. Both formats accommodate knives up to full-size fixed blades.
The EdgeTek Ultra Steel provides maintenance honing between sharpening sessions. The ribbed surface realigns edge geometry without removing significant material—extending the interval between full sharpening. Steel construction ensures durability through years of regular use.
The Dual Flat Pocket Stone delivers two-grit capability in a pocket-sized format. Diamond surfaces on both sides allow progression from coarse cutting to fine finishing without carrying multiple stones.
All EdgeTek products are USA-made. The tools work across Buck’s steel range including 420HC, 154CM, S35VN, S45VN, S30V, and CPM-MagnaCut—though harder steels require more strokes than softer alloys.
