Cold Steel Swift III
The Swift III brings assisted opening to Cold Steel's tactical lineup. A wrist flick deploys the 4" drop point blade instantly—no thumb stud fumbling, no two-handed operation required.
The blade runs M4 steel, a high-speed tool steel that prioritizes edge retention and toughness over the stainless convenience of S35VN. M4 demands slightly more maintenance but rewards users with cutting performance that outlasts most folder steels. The 3.4mm stock balances strength with slicing ability.
Cold Steel equipped the Swift III with their Atlas lock rather than the Tri-Ad found on most of their folders. The Atlas provides secure lockup with one-handed release, paired with an ambidextrous safety that prevents accidental deployment in the pocket. G-10 handles ensure grip security in wet or dry conditions.
At 5.5 ounces with a 9-3/8" overall length, this is a full-sized tactical folder built for users who want speed and cutting performance over low-profile carry.
