WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

We strive to ship all orders placed by 2:00 Central time the same business day. Although this does not happen for every order currently in excess of 97% of our orders ship same day when ordered by 2:00pm. Orders with engraving typically ship within two business days order placement. We can also rush your order and ship with engraving as quick as the same day. Contact us for details. We ship orders Monday through Friday during our normal business hours. Accordingly, orders placed from Friday afternoon to Sunday night will ship on Monday’s business day. We are closed on Federal Holidays and do not ship orders on those days.

DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT TO ORDER?

We offer the ability (but not requirement) to register for an account with us. Although the benefits of account registration are many you can always register as a "guest" if you so choose. We offer you to consider registering for an account so that you may:

  • Easily track orders and see status updates
  • View order history
  • Re-order frequently purchased items more easily
  • Receive registered member special offers

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Returns or exchanges are accepted for 14 days from the date of your order. We feel this is more than adequate time for the knife to arrive and for you to inspect/review it and see that it is what you expected. If you are returning an item to us please make sure to call in at 877-622-2397 or email info@dlttrading.com with your order number to be issued an RMA not more than 14 days from your order date. When you receive the RMA please ensure that we receive the item back within 10 days from the date of the RMA (21 days for international orders). Returns shipped back without an RMA, returns shipped back with labels attached to the product box, or shipped late will not be accepted and will be sent back to you at your cost. In order to return an item to us we ask you do the following:

  • Return the item 100% unused, in new condition with all original boxes, packaging, paperwork, labels intact and not crumbled, crushed, written on or otherwise damaged.
  • Incur all costs associated with shipping back to us. We do not pay return shipping and we suggest you ship back to us insured.
  • Ship items back to us packaged as we sent them to you. If we shipped the item in a box we require that it come back to us in a box to preserve the contents. If an item is returned in an envelope and is damaged it will be rendered unsaleable and sent back to you.
  • Include a copy of the original receipt detailing the reason for the return.
  • Do not put tape on boxes, write on them or damage them. If you do, the product will be rendered unsalable and returned to you.

If you received your item in error we will pay shipping both ways and make it right with you. We will not ship express however.

Returns and exchanges will be sent back to us at your cost. We will ship a replacement item at our expense. (See terms and conditions for international returns.)

We have eliminated our 15% restocking fee and give you the option of an exchange, store credit or a refund. Customers that habitually return items (example more than 2 in 30 days or 4 in 90 days) will be assessed a 15% restocking fee as deemed appropriate by DLT Trading.

For orders that are placed with Afterpay, there will be a 5% restock fee, so that we can recoup the cost of using the Afterpay service. This also applies to canceled orders when using Afterpay as the payment method.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We ship to the majority of Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Canada and numerous other developed nations. A full list is available at checkout. Rates for international shipping depend upon the shipping method chosen and can be reviewed at checkout prior to payment. We strive to process and ship your international order as fast as possible. We do not however control the package once it has shipped so please do not ask us to contact the shipping company to track your package. You may do so at www.FedEx.com or www.USPS.com. We HIGHLY recommend paying the extra cost and shipping Fed Ex. It is much faster and safer as well as clearing customs faster. You can also track it step-by-step. If you choose USPS you CANNOT track it step by step. Generally, USPS tracking will stop at Chicago or New York or similar terminal when the package leaves the US. We have NO WAY of tracking after this and cannot see anything other than what you can see by tracking online. We cannot file a claim until 45 days have passed with USPS. As such, any claims or request for refunds for lost packages will be denied immediately if 45 days have not passed. Further, it can take 4-6 weeks or longer with First Class Mail. It is a value priced option if you are not in a hurry but do not expect the order rapidly. If you want the order delivered fast and safe as stated choose our preferred international vendor Fed Ex International – you’ll be glad you did.

We will not falsify customs forms – please do not ask us to. It is against the law and we would not advise buying from a company who will falsify. We do not currently ship to Russia. We DO NOT pay your country’s import duties, brokerage, or customs fees. They are your responsibility no matter what. No matter how we ship it, how it is delivered or what you buy – you pay your country’s taxes, duties and all other fees. There are no exceptions to this policy whatsoever.

You as the buyer are 100% responsible to know if an item can be shipped to your country. We cannot stay abreast of the import restrictions for every country – it is your responsibility. We suggest that you either go online and review your country’s import restrictions or contact your country’s customs department. If an item we ship you is returned by your country’s customs department or postal service for any reason we will issue you a refund of the purchase price less the shipping fees. There are no exclusions to this policy.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express, Google Pay, Sezzle, and Afterpay. On large corporate order for promotional engraved knives we offer net and net 30 terms on approved accounts. Please contact us for details. We also accept government purchase orders on order for the Federal and State Governments.

At DLT Trading your privacy and information security is of utmost concern. All information and communications shared with us is considered privileged. We will never share, transmit or sell your personal information with any third party. DLT Trading provides you with a safe and secure shopping experience. Our shopping cart functions are encrypted and secure using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. Please never transmit any personal information to us via non secure methods.

All personal information shared with DLT Trading will be used to verify orders and credit card/payment information. DLT Trading does not store any credit card information on file as it is used to only process the transaction. This information will also be used to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of the purchase to you. DLT Trading reserves the right to use personal information to statistically examine their customer base and business performance. Our goal is to provide the best in consumer service and available product assortment. DLT Trading strictly controls access to your personal information. Employees are forbidden to share or transmit this information with any outside individuals or organizations. Personal information is securely stored and protected.

ENGRAVING

We are one of the world's largest suppliers of engraved knives and have an acumen for providing the highest quality end product for your gift recipient or corporate customer. Through our corporate sales division we can provide a proof sample for you to review prior to full order production. We can assist you with logos, fonts, and will do our best to exceed any of your expectations and if you check our reviews you will see that we do. Take a moment to view our engraved knives gallery where you can review numerous examples of our work. Please make sure to carefully review your engraving text prior to finalizing your order as engraved knives are not returnable under any circumstance other than if we made a typographical error in the engraving.

PAYMENT PLANS

We offer a payment plan on knife orders priced at $300 and up. In order to set up a payment plan on your purchase you need to pay a deposit/first installment of at least 20% of the total price or $100, whichever is higher. The entire purchase must be fully completed within 90 days of the first installment. You have the flexibility of paying your payment plan in up to 4 installments. We do not store your payment information, so you will need to call whenever you wish to make another payment toward your order. Reward Points can only be applied when paying the final balance.

Payment plans are inherently expensive to manage. As such, DLT needs to address fees (and in some instances complete forfeiture of the deposit) if the payment plan is not completed within 90 day under the original terms of the plan. Fees are outlined as follows:

  • Modification of the payment plan changing the product being purchased on layaway: $25 non-refundable fee
  • Cancellation by the customer contacting DLT to notify of cancellation: 20% of the original contract price with a $100 minimum cancellation
  • Cancellation by DLT because customer has gone past 90 days and does not contact DLT: loss of all funds deposited.

All payment plans must be set up over the phone with a credit card. There is no way for us to provide this through our online checkout at this time.

We feel there are better methods to pay for your item with extended terms; Sezzle and Afterpay are great options. We do however continue to offer payment plans for our customers who can pay the item off in time and stay in compliance with the terms.

QUANTITY PRICING/SPECIAL DISCOUNTS

We do offer quantity discounts on large bulk knife orders as well as engraved/corporate promo knives. Please contact Jason at 877-622-2397 to discuss your needs. We have over 100,000 knives in stock specifically for our large volume accounts meaning our prices are as good as you can find and we can ship extremely fast with our huge inventory. Engraving/laser etching are also done in house for a speedy turnaround.

PROMO CODES, REWARDS PROGRAM, & DISCOUNTS

We do not allow stacking of coupon codes on a single order. Example; you cannot use a $10 off code and a 15% discount code at the same time. You cannot use a promo gift card with an additional coupon code. At times we have discounts; and some items may be unintentionally promoted or the prices may be mismarked. These things happen, and we reserve the right to cancel any order or discontinue a promotion at any time due to a pricing error. Opening multiple accounts to game the system is a violation of our terms of service. We reserve the right to cancel any order(s) that are placed while attempting to circumvent the intention of our rewards program, which is to reward our loyal customers.
