The Kershaw Blur remains one of Ken Onion's most recognized designs, combining aggressive ergonomics with fast SpeedSafe assisted deployment. This blacked-out configuration upgrades the platform with CPM-MagnaCut steel and Cerakote coating for users who want premium performance with a low-profile tactical aesthetic.

Blade

The 3.4" drop point blade is ground from CPM-MagnaCut, a powder metallurgy steel that outperforms most stainless options in edge retention while maintaining excellent toughness and corrosion resistance. The black Cerakote finish adds an additional layer of wear and corrosion protection while eliminating reflective surfaces. The recurved edge geometry excels at slicing tasks, drawing material into the blade during cuts.

Handle

Black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handles keep weight manageable at 4 ounces while providing the rigidity needed for demanding work. Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts run the length of the handle scales, delivering traction in wet or dry conditions without adding bulk.

Lock

The liner lock engages automatically during SpeedSafe deployment, securing the blade for use. A simple press on the lockbar releases the blade for closing. The assisted opening mechanism fires with light pressure on the ambidextrous thumb stud.

Carry

The pocket clip accommodates right-hand carry in tip-up or tip-down orientation. At 4.5" closed, the Blur fits standard pockets while providing a full 3.4" of cutting edge when deployed.
