The McNees MAC 2 3" is a production version of one of the most popular designs from McNees Custom Knives. It's compact, ergonomic, and built around a material combination that puts it in serious company — MagnaCut steel and a titanium frame lock, made in the USA.

Blade

The 3" drop point blade is ground from MagnaCut — a powder metallurgy steel engineered by Larrin Thomas to deliver high hardness, strong edge retention, and corrosion resistance that rivals most stainless options. It's one of the most well-rounded blade steels available in production knives right now. The matte stonewashed finish hides wear and scratches, keeping the blade looking clean through daily use.

Lock

The McNees MAC 2 3" runs a titanium frame lock. It's a proven lockup mechanism that uses the handle material itself as the locking interface, keeping the part count low and the lock engagement solid. Deployment is smooth and lockup is secure with no play.

Handle

The titanium handle is matte stonewashed to match the blade. At 3.4oz total weight, the knife carries lighter than most titanium frame locks in this size class.
