The i1R 2 Pro is Olight's smallest rechargeable light — a keychain flashlight that measures 2.02 inches long, 0.64 inches in diameter, and weighs 0.78 ounces. It is, by any practical measure, barely larger than the key it hangs next to. If you carry a knife every day, there is no reason not to carry a light. The i1R 2 Pro adds effectively nothing to your pocket weight and guarantees you always have 180 lumens available when you need it.
Output & Beam
Output peaks at 180 lumens with a 48-meter beam distance through a CSP LED paired with a TIR optic lens. Two modes are controlled by twisting the head — a partial twist activates low at 5 lumens, a further twist steps up to the full 180. No buttons, no clicks, no mode cycling. The twist interface keeps operation dead simple and eliminates accidental activation in a pocket or bag.
Battery & Charging
The built-in 130 mAh lithium-ion battery charges via a USB-C port concealed under the captured head — unscrew it to expose the port, plug in, and a red indicator turns green when the charge is complete. Full charge takes approximately 100 minutes. Runtime runs 12 hours on low and roughly 23 minutes on high. The battery is non-replaceable, which is the trade-off for keeping the body this small.
Build & Carry
The aluminum alloy body carries an IPX8 waterproof rating — submersible to 2 meters — and handles drops from 1.5 meters. A split ring on the tail attaches directly to a keychain, carabiner, or zipper pull. Multiple colorways and limited editions rotate through the lineup.
