The Javelot is Olight's dedicated throw platform — a series of flashlights engineered around candela and beam distance rather than wide flood coverage. Where the Baton and Warrior lines prioritize close-to-mid-range utility, the Javelot puts every available photon into a tight, focused beam built to reach across open terrain. The lineup currently spans three models, scaling from a belt-holster EDC thrower to a full-size searchlight that pushes past 1,300 meters.
The Javelot Mini is the compact entry point — a single-18500 thrower that pushes 1,000 lumens to 600 meters with 88,320 candela in a body measuring 4.53 inches and weighing 5.43 ounces. That is over three times the throw of a Baton 4 in a package barely larger than most EDC lights. The dual-stage tactical tail switch keeps the interface simple — light press for low (200 lumens), hard press for high (1,000 lumens), single click for momentary. No side switch, no mode cycling, no complexity. The 2,040 mAh 18500 battery delivers up to 297 minutes on low. MCC magnetic charging through the tail cap, IPX8 waterproofing, and a belt holster are included. This is Olight's first EDC flashlight with a round light source, which produces a softer hotspot with cleaner edges than a traditional square-die emitter. If you need throw in a package you can actually carry on your belt every day, the Mini fills a role nothing else in the Olight catalog covers at this size.
The Javelot Pro 2 is the high-output workhorse of the series. It runs 2,500 lumens through a deep metal reflector that generates 271,400 candela and a beam distance of 1,050 meters — over two-thirds of a mile. Power comes from an integrated battery pack containing two 5,000 mAh 21700 cells (10,000 mAh total), delivering up to 12 days of runtime on the 15-lumen low mode and 32.5 hours on medium at 150 lumens. The dual-switch system splits control between a side switch for cycling through four brightness levels and a tail switch for direct access to turbo and low — standard Olight tactical layout. Four-level battery and brightness indicators surround the side switch for real-time status at a glance. The body runs 10.25 inches at 15 ounces in aerospace-grade aluminum with IPX8 waterproofing. The magnetic tail cap accepts both the MCC3 charging cable and an optional ROD remote pressure switch for weapon-mounted use. If you are scanning property lines, running SAR operations, or mounting a long-range light on a rifle, the Pro 2 delivers the combination of output and throw to handle it.
The Javelot Turbo is the maximum-throw model in the series — built for distance above all else. It runs 1,300 lumens through a 63mm bezel and smooth reflector that generates 422,500 candela and a beam distance of 1,300 meters. That is nearly a mile of usable throw from a handheld light. The same dual 21700 battery pack found in the Pro 2 provides 10,000 mAh of capacity and up to 318 hours of runtime on the 15-lumen low mode. Four output levels are accessible through the side switch, and the tail switch provides direct turbo and momentary access. The tail cap is compatible with the MCC3 charging cable and the lockable ROD remote pressure switch for weapon mounting. The body runs 10.20 inches at 14.40 ounces with IPX8 waterproofing. Where the Pro 2 balances output and throw, the Turbo sacrifices peak lumens to push candela as high as the platform will go. If absolute reach is the priority — hog hunting at distance, SAR in open terrain, maritime signaling — the Turbo is the tool for the job.
The decision comes down to carry profile and throw priority. The Mini gives you 600 meters of throw in a package you can wear on your belt. The Pro 2 gives you the highest output at 2,500 lumens with 1,050 meters of reach. The Turbo gives you the maximum throw at 1,300 meters with the highest candela in the lineup. All three share magnetic charging, IPX8 waterproofing, and aluminum alloy construction.
Every model. Side by side. Built for throw.

All models use smooth reflectors optimized for throw. Max runtime reflects lowest output mode. Turbo step-down occurs within 5–10 minutes on Pro 2 and Turbo models. The Javelot Mini uses a dual-stage tail switch only (no side switch). The Pro 2 and Turbo use dual switches — side for mode cycling, tail for direct turbo/low access and remote pressure switch compatibility. The optional weapon-mount remote is a rail-mounted pressure pad that locks onto the magnetic tail cap for hands-free activation (sold separately).
