The Prowess is not a flashlight that happens to have a lantern mode. It is two independent lighting tools built into one body — a 5,000-lumen cool white forward beam and an 800-lumen warm white 360-degree rear lantern, each with its own emitter array, color temperature, and brightness control. Flip the selector switch on the body to choose which end lights up, and you have a flashlight or a lantern without carrying two separate tools.
Six high-performance cool white LEDs (5500K–6500K) push up to 5,000 lumens on turbo with a beam distance of 245 meters and 15,010 candela. Five brightness levels run from moonlight through turbo. The turbo step-down kicks in at approximately 3 minutes, settling to a sustained output around 1,200 lumens — still more than enough for property sweeps, trail navigation, and vehicle work. The beam profile runs wide and floody through TIR optics, built for area illumination rather than long-range throw.
The reverse side runs a 360-degree warm white LED array (2800K–3200K) at up to 800 lumens with stepless dimming. The warm temperature makes it functionally different from the forward beam — it produces the kind of light you actually want at a campsite, in a tent, or during a power outage. Stand it on its magnetic tail, mount it on a tripod through the 1/4-inch threaded hole in the base, or hang it from the included holster bracket, and you have a freestanding area light that runs for hours.
A 5,000 mAh 21700 lithium-ion battery powers both outputs with up to 20 days of runtime on moonlight. Dual charging is supported — USB-C through the detachable magnetic base (included) or MCC3 magnetic charging through the tail cap. Full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours via USB-C. The detachable base has a suction cup for stability on smooth surfaces and the 1/4-inch tripod thread for stand mounting.
The aluminum alloy body measures 5.6 inches long and weighs 9.5 ounces with the battery installed. Diamond-textured grip machining covers the body tube. The magnetic tail cap provides hands-free mounting on any ferrous surface. A holster with an adhesive wall-mount bracket is included, which means you can hang the Prowess in a garage, workshop, or hallway as a grab-and-go emergency light that is always exactly where you left it. IPX8 waterproofing and 1.5-meter impact resistance are standard.
The Prowess replaces two items — a flashlight and a camping lantern — with one tool that does both well. If you camp, hunt, or work in environments where you need forward illumination one minute and ambient area light the next, the bidirectional design eliminates the need to pack separately for both. It also makes a strong case as a home emergency light — stand it on its tail in lantern mode during an outage, grab it and flip the switch when you need to check the breaker box. One tool, two jobs, no compromise on either.
