The Warrior series is Olight's tactical EDC platform — a lineup of dual-switch flashlights built for buyers who want a light that functions tactically without sacrificing daily carry usability. Every model in the series runs a side switch for everyday use and a tail switch for overhand tactical grip, giving you two independent interfaces depending on how you are holding the light. The lineup splits into two sub-lines: the standard Warrior for general tactical EDC, and the Warrior X for long-range throw-oriented duty use.
The Warrior Nano is the smallest tactical light in the series — an 18350-powered model that packs 1,200 lumens and a 135-meter beam distance into a body measuring 3.19 inches at 3.00 ounces. Six brightness levels from moonlight through turbo plus strobe, all accessible through the dual-switch layout. The tail switch is configurable between two modes — medium/half-turbo or medium/strobe — giving you control over what the tactical press activates. Runtime stretches to 40 days on moonlight. If you want the Warrior dual-switch UI in the smallest possible package, the Nano fills that role.
The Warrior Mini 2 runs 1,750 lumens with a 220-meter beam distance and 12,300 candela from a 3,500 mAh 18650 battery. The body measures 4.52 inches at 4.30 ounces. A built-in proximity sensor automatically reduces output when the head is obstructed — an important safety feature at this output level that prevents pocket activation from generating dangerous heat. The two-stage tail switch provides momentary and constant-on access to configurable modes. Runtime hits 45 days on moonlight. This is a legacy model being replaced by the Warrior Mini 3.
The Warrior Mini 3 is the current compact Warrior. It maintains the 1,750-lumen output of the Mini 2 but trims the body to 4.37 inches at 4.30 ounces with a tighter, throwier beam profile reaching 240 meters and 14,400 candela. The proximity sensor is upgraded — it only activates within the first 2 seconds of turn-on, which means it prevents accidental pocket burns but will not step down output if you walk into brush or approach obstacles during normal use. The Luminus SFT-40 LED and TIR optic produce a general-purpose beam with a defined hotspot and generous spill. MCC magnetic charging, two-way pocket clip, and IPX8 waterproofing are standard. Runtime extends to 100 days on moonlight.
The Warrior 3S is the full-size standard Warrior — a 21700-powered model pushing 2,300 lumens with a 300-meter beam distance and 23,000 candela. The 5,000 mAh battery delivers up to 55 days on moonlight and 13 hours on medium at 200 lumens. The dual-switch layout splits between a side switch for mode cycling and a two-stage tail switch for direct access to turbo or strobe depending on configuration. Four-level laser-microperforated battery and brightness indicators surround the side switch. The proximity sensor is disablable — double-press the side switch within 5 seconds of auto-dimming to temporarily override it. The body runs 5.47 inches at 6.21 ounces in aluminum alloy with a two-way stainless steel pocket clip and IPX8 waterproofing.
The Warrior Ultra is the current flagship of the standard Warrior line — an incremental upgrade over the Warrior 3S built in Olight's O-Aluminum (OAL), which is 1.73 times harder than standard 6061 alloy. Output bumps to 2,500 lumens with a 320-meter beam distance and 26,000 candela. The same 5,000 mAh 21700 battery delivers 55 days on moonlight. The side switch is oversized for glove-friendly operation, and the knurled tail switch provides more tactile feedback than the 3S. A jagged strike bezel serves as a glass breaker and defensive tool. The proximity sensor, configurable tail switch, magnetic charging, and IPX8 waterproofing all carry forward. The body runs 5.51 inches at 6.28 ounces. If you want the best standard-format Warrior currently available, the Ultra is it.
The Warrior X Pro shifts the platform toward throw. It runs 2,100 lumens through a smooth reflector with a 500-meter beam distance and 62,500 candela — nearly double the reach of the standard Warrior. A 5,000 mAh 21700 battery provides up to 8 hours on the 300-lumen low mode. The tail switch is the only control — light press for low, full press for high. No side switch, no mode cycling. The aggressive knurling, tactical ring, and raised tail switch are built for overhand grip work. The body runs 5.87 inches at 8.43 ounces. A vibrating low-battery indicator alerts you through the grip rather than a visual display.
The Warrior X 3 pushes to 2,500 lumens with a 560-meter beam distance and 78,000 candela. It is a legacy model superseded by the Warrior X 4 but remains available while stock lasts.
The Warrior X Turbo is the maximum-throw model in the Warrior line. It runs 1,100 lumens through a deep reflector that generates 250,000 candela and a 1,000-meter beam distance — nearly matching the Javelot series in throw but in a Warrior-format body with a tactical tail switch. The 5,000 mAh 21700 battery delivers up to 12.5 hours on the 150-lumen low mode. The tail switch is compatible with the optional remote pressure switch for weapon mounting. If you need Warrior-platform ergonomics with Javelot-class throw, the X Turbo fills that role.
The Warrior X 4 is the current flagship of the X line. It pushes 2,600 lumens through a smooth reflector with a 630-meter beam distance and 99,310 candela. The 5,000 mAh 21700 battery runs up to 8 hours on the 300-lumen low mode. The two-stage tail switch is configurable between Regular mode (low/high) and Tactical mode (medium/strobe). USB-C charging is built in through a rotating dust cover below the bezel — the first Warrior X model with onboard USB-C. MCC3 magnetic charging is also supported through the tail cap. A tri-color battery indicator and vibration alert provide redundant low-battery warnings. The body runs 5.87 inches at 8.78 ounces with IPX8 waterproofing. If you need a duty-grade tactical light with serious throw and the flexibility to charge from any USB-C source, the X 4 is the current top of the line.
The standard Warrior models (Nano through Ultra) use TIR optics for a balanced beam with a wide hotspot — they are built to light up the space around you at close to mid range. The Warrior X models use smooth reflectors for a tight, focused beam that pushes distance — they are built to reach targets and identify threats at range. Both sub-lines share the same 21700 battery platform, magnetic charging, and IPX8 waterproofing. Choose standard for versatile EDC, choose X for throw-first duty use.

All models feature strobe mode, magnetic tail caps, aluminum alloy construction, and IPX8 waterproofing. Max runtime reflects moonlight or lowest mode. Standard Warrior models use TIR optics for balanced flood+spot beams. Warrior X models use smooth (SMO) reflectors optimized for throw. The Warrior X Turbo has the highest throw in the series at 1,000 meters. The Warrior X 4 is the only Warrior X model with onboard USB-C charging. Standard Warrior models (Mini 2, Mini 3, 3S, Ultra) feature side + tail dual switches. Warrior X models use a two-stage tail switch only.
