SOG Multi-Tools
SOG’s multi-tool platform is built around a patented compound leverage system—a gear-driven mechanism in the plier head that doubles gripping force at the jaws. SOG uses interlocking gears rather than a simple pivot, delivering roughly twice the clamping and cutting force of a conventional multi-tool plier at the same grip pressure.
PowerLock & PowerAccess Platforms
The PowerLock is the flagship—a full-size multi-tool with compound leverage pliers, 18 integrated tools, and a modular component system. Available in stainless and black oxide finishes, plus a V-Cutter variant with a specialized line-cutting tool. Tools deploy individually from the handle without opening the plier head. The PowerAccess retains the compound leverage system in a lighter, slimmer body with the same 18-tool count and outward-opening tool access.
PowerAssist & Flash MT Hybrid Designs
The PowerAssist bridges the PowerLock and PowerAccess with compound leverage pliers and two assisted-opening blades—one serrated, one plain—built into the handle. The Flash MT takes a different approach entirely, combining an assisted-opening Cryo D2 knife blade with a compact multi-tool body. Seven tools and compound leverage pliers in a package that fits a pocket profile closer to a folder than a traditional multi-tool.
Specialty Tools — ParaShears & MACV Tool
The ParaShears are spring-loaded medical and utility shears with integrated tools for first responders and field use. The MACV Tool is a credit-card-format tool with 12 functions, built as a tribute to the MACV-SOG unit that inspired the brand.
