Asheville Crafted Edge

Asheville Crafted Edge is the work of Samuel Garner, a kitchen-knife maker with a storefront in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. Garner started it as a passion project in 2022, and it grew into a knife-centric kitchen store that stocks his own knives alongside a range of other makers.

The focus on kitchen knives is personal. Garner worked in kitchens through college, where his love for them took hold, building on a childhood around a factory floor and early time spent forging and tinkering with basic knifemaking. He builds tools meant to get used every day, at home or on the line.

Every blade carries a subtle convex grind to help with food release, paired with synthetic handles like G10 and Micarta that stand up to professional kitchens and wipe down easily. Garner keeps the handles smooth and comfortable for long hours of prep, with the blades ground for performance. He also keeps his price points accessible for the average cook, which fits the whole idea behind the knives.
