The Mark 1 Medium from Attn2Detail Mercantile is a fourth-generation flipper built for collectors and enthusiasts who want refined mechanics in a hard-use folder. This build features a blackwash contoured fragmented titanium handle paired with a stonewash satin Hissatsu blade, and includes a dog tag certificate of authenticity.

Blade

The 3.25" Hissatsu blade is ground from MagnaCut steel with a stonewash satin finish and measures 0.150" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel engineered specifically for knives, offering excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and enough toughness to hold up to daily carry abuse. The Hissatsu style brings a reverse-tanto tip that's both strong and precise for detail work, with hand ground bevels on this build.

Handle

The handle is machined from titanium with a blackwash finish and contoured fragmented texturing for grip. Titanium is lightweight, corrosion resistant, and naturally springy, which is why it's a common choice for frame lock construction. All hardware on this knife is also titanium, and it rides on SKIFF brand ceramic bearings for smooth flipper action. Weight comes in at 5.04oz.

Carry

This GEN4 build uses a frame lock, where a cut section of the titanium handle itself flexes over to secure the blade open. Revised lock face geometry and lock bar relief give this version a more consistent, modern detent for reliable flipping. The machined titanium pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only.
