The Mark 1 Medium from Attn2Detail Mercantile is a Gen 4 framelock flipper built for collectors who want refined mechanics and hand-finished details. This version features a greywash treadplate titanium handle and a batwing MagnaCut blade, running on SKIFF brand ceramic bearings for smooth deployment.
Blade
The 3.25" blade is ground from MagnaCut steel in a hissatsu style with a stonewash satin finish. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel engineered to balance high edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and toughness in one package, making it a favorite among makers producing premium hard-use folders. Bevels are hand ground, and each blade is engraved with its year of creation.
Handle
The handle is machined titanium with a greywash treadplate pattern. Titanium is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and takes surface treatments well, which is why it's a standard choice in high-end folders. All hardware on this knife is titanium as well, and the pocket clip is machined in-house rather than stamped. At 4.8oz, the knife carries light for its size.
Carry
This knife runs a frame lock, where a spring-tempered section of the titanium frame itself locks behind the blade tang to hold it open. Attn2Detail's Gen 4 update revises the detent ramp, lock face geometry, and lock bar relief for a cleaner, more consistent lockup feel. The machined titanium pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only. Each knife ships with a dog tag certificate of authenticity.
Made in the USA.
