The MK3 Medium Gen 4 from Attn2Detail Mercantile is a hand-finished folder for collectors and enthusiasts who want refined fit and finish alongside modern materials. This Gen 4 build carries a revised detent ramp, updated lock face geometry, and lock bar relief for a smoother, more consistent action.

Blade

The 3.25" harpoon blade is made from MagnaCut steel with a stonewash satin finish. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel engineered for high edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and toughness that outperforms most older super steels, making it a low-maintenance option for daily carry. Bevels are hand ground, and each blade is engraved with the year of manufacture.

Handle

The handle pairs grey wash titanium with a brass contoured accent. Titanium is a lightweight, corrosion-resistant metal that adds durability without excess bulk, while the brass inlay develops a natural patina over time with handling. All hardware on the knife is titanium as well. Weight comes in at 5.89oz, giving it a solid, substantial feel in hand.

Carry

The bolsterlock is a variation on the frame lock where a section of the handle's bolster locks the blade open, offering a secure lockup with a clean look when closed. The titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-hand, tip-up carry only.
