Blade

The 2.5" utility blade is made from stainless steel, chosen here for its corrosion resistance, making it a low-maintenance option for a small knife that may see damp environments or infrequent cleaning. The straightforward utility grind keeps the edge easy to maintain and effective for fine cutting tasks.

Handle

The handle is finished in vintage butterscotch Micarta over black liners. Micarta is a composite of linen or canvas cloth layered with resin under pressure, resulting in a durable, grippy material that develops character with age. At just 1.55oz total weight, the MEK disappears in a pocket or around the neck.

Carry

This fixed blade ships with a leather sheath, offering a traditional look and a snug friction fit for the small blade. As a fixed blade, there is no lock to operate - the knife is ready to draw and use as soon as it clears the sheath.
