Blade

The 2.5" utility blade is made from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of maintenance. The utility grind keeps the edge simple and effective for everyday cutting tasks like opening packages, food prep, or fine detail work.

Handle

This model features Vintage Westinghouse crosscut canvas Micarta with red liners. Micarta is a composite made from linen or canvas layers set in resin, prized for its durability and grip even when wet. The Westinghouse crosscut pattern gives each handle a distinct grain and color variation, while the red liners add a sharp accent line at the handle edges. At just 1.55oz, the knife carries virtually unnoticed.

Carry

The MEK ships with a leather sheath sized for close, low-profile carry, whether around the neck, in a pocket, or clipped to a belt. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism to worry about - the tang and handle are a single solid unit ready for immediate use.
