The Banzelcroft MEK is a compact fixed blade built for everyday carry, made by hand by Josh Fox. Its small footprint makes it well suited for light utility tasks, and each knife carries unique natural handle material.
Blade
The 2.5" utility blade is made from stainless steel, chosen for its corrosion resistance and low maintenance - a good match for a small blade that sees frequent daily use and moisture exposure. At just 1.55oz overall, it stays light in the pocket.
Handle
The handle is crafted from yellow cedar burl with black linen Micarta liners. Cedar burl is a dense, figured wood taken from tree growth irregularities, giving each handle its own distinct grain pattern. Micarta is a resin-impregnated linen composite, used here as a liner for added structure and durability where the wood meets the tang.
Carry
This is a fixed blade with no lock mechanism - the blade and handle are one solid piece. It ships with a leather sheath for secure, low-profile carry, suitable for pocket, neck, or belt use depending on preference.
Made in the USA.
