The Comanche is one of the longest running little knives in the Battle Horse Knives catalog, and the reason shows up in forum threads more than spec sheets: for a lot of people this was their first bushcraft knife, the one they cut their first feather sticks with and kept reaching for years later. It is a deliberately overbuilt small knife. Stock this thick on a three inch blade means the Comanche drills, plows, and works through wood jobs that would flex a lighter blade, while the curved handle keeps it comfortable through the long carving sessions small knives actually live in. DLT stocks it two ways: flat ground in natural, green, or black micarta for the slicier all around carry, and saber ground in natural micarta for maximum steel behind the edge.
