O1 Fixed Blade with Maple Handles

The Frontier First is a compact fixed blade designed for everyday carry. Its flat grind blade and lightweight maple handles make it a versatile tool for small tasks, camping, or as a backup knife. Battle Horse pairs it with a premium leather sheath for secure carry and a classic look.

Blade

The 2.375" flat ground blade uses O1 high-carbon steel at 0.125" thick. O1 is a tough, wear-resistant steel that holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen. It's excellent for batoning, prying, and other hard-use tasks. The flat grind provides a sharp edge for slicing and detail work.

Handle

Maple wood handles are lightweight at just 2.5oz and provide a comfortable, natural grip. The overall length is 5.5625", making it compact enough for pocket carry while still offering a full grip.

Carry

The leather sheath includes a belt loop for secure carry. No lock mechanism - this is a fixed blade with a full tang, so the blade and handle are one continuous piece of steel. The sheath holds the knife securely with positive snap retention.
