The Fox Hound is the hunter among the small blades Battle Horse Knives makes: three inches of full tang O1 with a genuinely bellied edge, 7.625 inches overall, light on the belt. The name is not decoration. That sweep in the little blade is a skinning curve, and it is what separates the Fox Hound from the brand's straighter wood-first patterns at the same size.
Battle Horse Fox Hound Flat or Saber Grind
DLT stocks the Fox Hound both ways, and the choice maps to how you hunt. The flat grind is the slicer, the version for skinning, caping, and camp cooking where the bellied edge does its best work; the saber grind banks extra steel behind the edge for the seasons when the same knife also builds the fire and works the camp. Either way the micarta comes in natural, green, or black matte, shaped for comfortable use through a full day of field chores, with a leather belt sheath included.
