O1 Fixed Blade with Maple Handle

The Battle Horse Sisu is a compact fixed blade designed for bushcraft and outdoor tasks. Inspired by Nordic puukko knives, it combines traditional craftsmanship with modern materials for a versatile tool in the wilderness. The name "Sisu" comes from the Finnish concept of resilience and determination.

Blade

The 3.5" blade uses O1 high-carbon steel at 0.125" thick, scandi-ground for excellent edge retention and easy sharpening in the field. O1 is a simple carbon steel that develops a patina over time, adding character to the knife. The scandi grind creates a thin edge behind a thick spine, ideal for wood carving and batoning.

Handle

The maple handle provides a warm, traditional feel with excellent grip texture. Maple is a durable hardwood that won't shrink or warp with exposure to moisture. The handle is contoured for comfort during extended use.

Carry

Includes a leather sheath with belt loop for secure carry. No lock mechanism - this is a fixed blade with a full tang, so the blade and handle are one continuous piece of steel. The sheath holds the knife securely with positive retention.
