This particular Black Class auto model, the 5300SBK, features Benchmade's auto AXIS system which is a fully ambidextrous operating system utilizing a dual pull tab method. The black anodized aluminum handle scales offer bi-directional tread for a more secure grip and, like all Benchmade automatics, the slide safety has been integrated into the spine. This higher-end model also features a black finished partly serrated tanto blade and the pocket clip is designed for tip up carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option.
