Benchmade Claymore
The Benchmade Claymore is a push button automatic built for hard use, and one of the most affordable ways into a Benchmade auto. Press the knurled button and a 3.6 inch blade fires open from the side. The button lock holds it, and a sliding safety keeps it closed in the pocket. Textured Grivory scales over stainless liners keep it light and grippy wet or gloved, and a reversible deep carry clip rides tip up. It is part of Benchmade's Black Class and made in the USA.
Benchmade Claymore 9070 Drop Point and 9071 Tanto
The 9070 carries a 3.6 inch drop point at about 3.5 ounces, the all purpose shape for everyday and utility work. The 9071 swaps in a tanto of the same length, with a reinforced tip for piercing and hard use, and it sits alongside the rest of our tanto knives. Both come in black or Ranger Green Grivory, plain or partially serrated for rope and webbing.

Claymore Blade Steels: CPM D2 and 154CM
The original Claymores run CPM D2, a powder metallurgy version of the classic tool steel with strong wear resistance and a long lasting edge. The current -02 and -03 builds move to 154CM, an easy to sharpen stainless with good corrosion resistance. Both come under a Cobalt Black Cerakote finish that cuts glare.
