The Kitsari is Benchmade's first hawkbill-style knife, built for anyone who wants an aggressive, recurved edge in a thin everyday carry package. The concave blade shape draws material into the cutting edge, making it efficient at slicing through cord, tape, and other fibrous materials.

Blade

The 3.146" hawkbill blade is made from Z-12ULTRA PM, a powdered tool steel finished in black. This steel offers strong edge retention and toughness even at high hardness, holding an edge through heavy use while resisting chipping. At just 0.09" thick, the blade stays light without sacrificing cutting performance.

Handle

Black G-10 scales are milled with a radial pattern for grip and visual texture. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate prized for its strength, light weight, and resistance to moisture. Flat Dark Earth PVD-coated hardware adds contrast against the black handle.

Carry

The Axis lock is Benchmade's ambidextrous locking mechanism, operated with a spring-loaded bar that can be disengaged with either hand for one-handed opening and closing. The reversible pocket clip accommodates right or left-hand tip-up carry. Quantity Made: 1,000.
