The Mini Adira 18065BK-ABEL2 is a limited edition collaboration between Benchmade, Abel Reels, and artist Derek DeYoung, built for anglers and collectors who want a folder that reflects a passion for fly fishing. This run is limited to 250 pieces, with a portion of proceeds supporting Project Healing Waters.

Blade

The 3.21" drop point blade is forged from Damasteel in Benchmade's exclusive Monarch pattern, finished in black DLC coating. Damasteel is a powder metallurgy damascus known for its distinctive pattern as well as strong edge retention and corrosion resistance, and the DLC coating adds a hard, low-friction black finish that resists wear.

Handle

The handle scales are machined aluminum, anodized at Abel's headquarters in Montrose, Colorado, and finished with hand-painted Brown Trout Flank artwork by Derek DeYoung. Aluminum offers a lightweight, rigid handle material, and at just 3.09oz this knife carries easily. An aluminum backspacer and Abel-manufactured lanyard bead complete the build.

Carry

The Axis lock is Benchmade's ambidextrous locking bar system, operated with a sliding thumb stud so the blade can be opened and closed with one hand from either side. The reversible pocket clip is configured for right or left hand, tip up carry.
