The Benchmade Mini SOCP Folder is a self-defense-oriented EDC knife developed with SOCP founder Greg Thompson, scaled down from the original full-size 391 for easier daily carry. It offers multiple deployment and carry configurations for users who want speed and versatility in one package.

Blade

The 3.76" spear point blade is made from S30V steel finished in Graphite Black Cerakote. S30V is a premium powder metallurgy steel known for strong edge retention and good corrosion resistance, and the Cerakote coating adds further protection against wear and the elements. The spear point shape centers the tip for strength and controlled piercing, and the blade can be opened via thumb disk, thumb stud, or pocket deployment hook.

Handle

Textured black G-10 scales cover the handle. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate prized for its light weight, durability, and grip even in wet conditions. At 4.31oz, the knife stays light enough for comfortable everyday carry while maintaining a secure hold.

Carry

Benchmade's Axis lock is a manual, ambidextrous mechanism that uses a spring-loaded bar to lock the blade open; pulling the bar back disengages it for quick one-handed closing. The knife can be set up with a full finger-ring backspacer for quick-draw carry or a finger-ring pocket clip for a lower profile, and the clip supports right or left hand, tip-up carry.
