Blade

The 3.7" drop point blade is made from MagnaCut steel with a stonewashed finish. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel engineered specifically for edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness, making it well suited to the wet, messy conditions of field dressing. Benchmade finishes the edge with their SelectEdge process for a refined, ready-to-use sharpness. The high tip and generous belly give the blade the reach to process large game while staying agile in tighter cuts.

Handle

The handle uses Rust Orange G-10, a fiberglass laminate that stays grippy when wet and resists cracking or warping. The shape is contoured with a deep finger choil and pinch points that prevent the hand from rolling forward onto the edge during detailed work. Complete weight comes in at 8.706oz.

Carry

As a fixed blade, the SlipRidge carries no lock - the tang and handle are a single rigid unit. It ships with a modular Boltaron sheath that holds both the drop point blade and the included 440C gut hook, allowing several carry configurations depending on how you set up your kit.
