The Mini Alpha takes the distinctive blade shape and refined contours of BergBlades' original Alpha and packs them into a smaller, lighter EDC-focused package. Built primarily as a front flipper with a fuller that also makes for a smooth reverse flick, it's designed for collectors and enthusiasts who want a compact, high-performance folder.

Blade

The 3.1" drop point blade is made from S90V, a premium powder metallurgy steel known for outstanding edge retention and wear resistance. The belt satin finish gives a clean, functional look while the steel itself holds an edge through extended use, trading some ease of sharpening for long-term performance. At 0.134" thick, the blade stays agile for everyday tasks.

Handle

Light bead blasted titanium scales form the handle, strategically milled to reduce weight while keeping the structure rigid. Titanium resists corrosion and wears in with a smooth matte texture over time. Total weight comes in at just 3.21oz, making this knife easy to carry all day.

Carry

The frame lock uses a section of the titanium handle itself to lock the blade open, engaging directly behind the tang for a secure, easy-to-disengage lock. The pocket clip is positioned for right-hand, tip-up carry only, and has been tuned with reduced tension and added clearance for a smoother fit in jeans and shorts, though thicker double-layer pockets may feel snug with its low-profile design.
