Damascus Liner Lock with Black Anodized Aluminum Handles
The Boker 1969 Z28-Damast Shadow is a limited-edition knife inspired by the iconic 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 muscle car. Designed in collaboration with Italian designer Tommaso Rumici and forged by Chad Nichols, this knife captures the spirit of American automotive history. With only 300 pieces made worldwide, it's a collector's item for enthusiasts and knife aficionados alike.
Blade
The 80-layer Damascus blade features a drop-point style with a PVD finish, hand-forged in the "Tread" pattern as an homage to the Camaro's sloped cowl-induction hood. Authentic components from the Camaro's upper control arm are integrated into the blade material. Damascus steel combines layers of different steels to create a distinctive pattern, offering a balance of edge retention and toughness.
Handle
The handle is made of black hard-anodized aluminum, translating the vehicle's body lines into a sculpted design. It includes distinctive elements like the notchback profile, subtle rear spoiler, and gill-like rear fender vents. The pivot screw echoes classic muscle car wheels, and the straight, milled stainless steel pocket clip recalls polished chrome door handles. The handle weighs 3.46oz, providing a substantial yet balanced feel.
Carry
The knife uses a stainless steel liner lock for secure blade locking. It includes a right-hand-only, tip-up pocket clip for convenient carry. The thumb stud allows for smooth one-handed deployment.
