Designed by custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley, the Boker Plus Kihon is built around the idea of mastering the fundamentals - a clean, no-frills everyday carry knife that does its job without excess. It suits users who want a dependable folder for daily tasks without added bulk.

Blade

The 3.23" drop point blade is made from D2 steel with a black DLC finish. D2 is a high-carbon tool steel known for strong edge retention and wear resistance, and the DLC coating adds extra corrosion resistance while reducing glare. The drop point shape gives a strong tip and generous belly, useful for everyday cutting tasks. The blade rides on ball bearings and opens via ambidextrous, removable thumb studs.

Handle

The handle is glass-fiber-reinforced nylon, a lightweight and impact-resistant polymer often used in hard-use folders. A textured square pattern on the surface improves grip without adding weight - the whole knife comes in at 3.7oz.

Carry

The crossbar lock uses a sliding bar that locks the blade open and releases with a simple push from either side, making it fast and intuitive to operate one-handed. A convertible wire clip allows tip-up carry on either the right or left side, and a lanyard hole adds another carry option.
