The 3.62" blade runs D2 tool steel — a high-carbon, high-chromium steel known for strong edge retention and wear resistance. D2 holds up well through extended use between sharpenings, making it a practical choice for an everyday carry blade. It does require a bit more attention to corrosion prevention than stainless options, but the cutting performance trade-off is worth it for users who put real work through their knives.
Lock
The button lock provides one-handed deployment and lockup with a single press. It's a mechanism that's become increasingly popular in the folding knife space for its simplicity and reliability. Lockup is solid with no blade play when engaged.
Handle
The handle is machined from green Grivory — a glass-fiber reinforced polyamide that's lightweight, impact resistant, and holds up in wet or cold conditions without getting slick. It's the same material Boker uses across several of their Plus line models, and it keeps the overall weight of the knife down without sacrificing grip.
Carry
A right-hand, tip-up pocket clip comes standard. The clip position keeps the knife seated deep in the pocket for a low-profile carry. At 3.62" of blade, this is on the larger side of everyday carry, but the Grivory handle keeps the weight manageable for all-day pocket time.
Made in Germany by Boker — a company that's been building knives in Solingen since 1869.
