Buck’s hunting knife lineup covers field dressing, skinning, and game processing with purpose-built blade profiles across fixed and folding platforms. The Alpha series anchors the premium tier, while Pursuit and PakLite address different carry preferences and use cases.
The Alpha series launched as Buck’s modern hunting platform. The Alpha Hunter runs a 3.625" drop point fixed blade—sized for deer and similar game. The Alpha Guide extends to 4.5" for larger animals. The Alpha Scout provides a compact 2.875" blade for detail work and backup carry. Each model ships in three tiers: Select (420HC with GFN handles), Pro (S45VN with Dymalux or Richlite handles), and Elite (CPM-MagnaCut with premium handle materials). Guthook variants are available on the Hunter and Guide.
The Pursuit series offers folding and fixed blade hunters. Fixed blades run 420HC with rubberized handles and include the Large Pursuit (4.5"), Small Pursuit (3"), and Large Pursuit Guthook. Folding versions add a lockback mechanism to the same blade geometries. The Pursuit Pro tier upgrades to S35VN steel and orange GFN handles.
PakLite 2.0 targets weight-conscious hunters with skeletonized fixed blades. The Field Knife, Processor, Cape, and Hide cover all field dressing tasks while minimizing pack weight. Select models run 420HC; Pro versions upgrade to S35VN with Cerakote coating and upgraded sheaths.
The Bantam series provides folding hunters with 420HC blades and camo GFN handles. The Bucklite Max II delivers a larger 4" blade for general hunting tasks. Buck backs all hunting knives with the Forever Warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship.
