Buck manufactures replacement sheaths for their most popular models in genuine leather and heavy-duty nylon. Whether you need to replace a worn sheath or want different carry options, these sheaths protect your Buck investment while providing secure, accessible carry.
The Buck 110 sheath comes in both traditional leather and modern nylon options. The leather version maintains the classic look that's accompanied the 110 since 1964, featuring the snap closure and belt loop design hunters recognize. The nylon version offers maintenance-free durability with dual belt loops for vertical or horizontal carry. Both fit the 110's 4.75" closed length with room for the brass bolsters.
As the compact brother to the 110, the Buck 112 Ranger uses similar sheath designs scaled for its 4.25" closed length. Available in both leather and nylon, these sheaths provide the same secure retention as the 110 versions. The nylon option features the versatile dual-loop system, while the leather maintains the traditional appearance many prefer for this classic folder.
The Buck 119 Special sheath accommodates this 10.5" overall length hunting knife with a secure snap strap retention system. The leather construction protects the 6-inch blade while providing quick access for field dressing tasks.
For smaller fixed blades, we stock sheaths for the Buck 102 Woodsman (4" blade), 105 Pathfinder (5" blade), and 191-192 Zipper & Vanguard models. These compact sheaths ride close to the body without the bulk of larger knife sheaths, making them ideal for everyday carry or backup hunting knives.
Buck leather sheaths offer traditional appearance that ages with character, tight molding to the knife shape over time, classic snap closure retention, and standard belt loop positioning. The leather develops a patina through use and molds to your specific knife for a custom fit.
Buck nylon sheaths provide no-maintenance durability that won't crack or need conditioning. They're machine washable when dirty from field use and offer moisture resistance for wet conditions. The dual carry loops allow vertical or horizontal positioning depending on your preference. The nylon sheaths fit so securely that many users report their knife won't fall out even with the snap open, important for those working in active situations. When one belt loop eventually wears out, simply switch to the alternate carry position using the other loops.
While Buck's standard sheaths work for most carry positions, those wanting cross-draw configurations for the Buck 110, 112, or 119 Special often seek custom leather options. Cross draw positioning at the 10-11 o'clock position allows easier access when seated or wearing heavy clothing.
Buck designs each sheath for specific models, though some overlap exists. Buck 110 sheaths also fit 276, 277, 278, 279 Alpha Hunters. Buck 112 sheaths work with other similar-sized folders. Fixed blade sheaths are sized specifically for each model's blade and handle length.
Whether replacing a worn sheath or adding carry options, choose the material and model that matches your Buck knife and intended use. Leather for tradition and appearance, nylon for durability and versatility.
