on Orders Over $99The Case Chris Taylor CT1 Hunter is a collaboration between Case and Arkansas custom knifemaker Chris Taylor of Taylor Made Knives. Taylor started making knives in 2011 and has built a reputation for functional designs with a refined aesthetic—the kind of work that shows up at invitation-only knife shows. This partnership, introduced at SHOT Show 2024, brings his design sensibility to Case's Bradford, PA production.
The CT1 runs a 3.7" clip point blade in Nitro-V stainless steel. Nitro-V is a nitrogen-alloyed stainless that delivers solid edge retention and corrosion resistance while remaining easy to sharpen in the field—practical steel for a working hunter. The stonewash finish hides use wear and cuts glare. A swedge on the spine and jimping add control during detailed work.
Full tang construction with the handle scales screwed in place rather than pinned. This approach adds strength and allows for disassembly if maintenance is ever needed. The OD green burlap micarta handles are contoured with an integrated finger guard for a secure grip during wet or bloody work. A lanyard pin at the pommel provides carry options.
At 8.1" overall and 4 oz, this is a compact, lightweight hunter that won't weigh down your pack. Includes a black leather belt sheath. Covered by Case's limited lifetime warranty. Made in USA.
