The Case Crossroads XR Texas Trapper is a collaboration with Texas knifemaker Bill Ruple, bringing his signature design to Case's Crossroads series. Limited to 3000 pieces, each knife carries a 20FPR26 tang stamp and Ruple's signature on the blade, making it a piece built for collectors as well as everyday carry.
Blade
The 3.2" clip point blade is flat taper-ground from S35VN steel, a premium upgrade over traditional Case steels. S35VN holds an edge well, resists corrosion, and offers good toughness, making it a steel that handles daily cutting tasks without constant resharpening. A thumb hole cutout is built into the blade for easy one-hand opening.
Handle
The 4.5" handle pairs Richlite with a black G-10 shield for contrast. Richlite is a resin-infused paper composite that is lightweight and highly durable, while G-10 is a fiberglass laminate known for its toughness and grip. An integrated one-piece bolster and liner construction keeps the knife solid without adding unnecessary weight, and premium star screws hold everything together. Total weight comes in at just 2.1oz.
Carry
This is a slipjoint, meaning the blade is held open by spring tension rather than a locking mechanism, opening and closing with a satisfying snap. A lanyard hole on the handle adds another carry option beyond a traditional pocket.
