The AD-10 answers a simple question: how do you pack serious capability into a sub-4-inch folder that won't clear a room when you pull it from your pocket?
Andrew Demko originally designed the 4-Max—a massive, tank-like tactical folder with an extremely thick blade stock built more like a fixed blade that happens to fold. Impressive, but not exactly subtle. The AD-10 scales down to practical, everyday-carry dimensions while retaining the features that made the original a hard-use legend.
The ultra-wide blade geometry delivers serious cutting and shearing power, ground thin at the edge for razor sharpness but thick enough behind the grind to resist chipping and bending. The drop point profile keeps things capable without being intimidating.
Handle construction matches the blade's intent. Heat-treated full-length aluminum liners, 3D-machined G-10 scales, and oversized pins and bolts create a chassis built for abuse. Precise contouring and an integral finger guard lock your hand in place during hard cuts.
Cold Steel equipped the AD-10 with their proven Tri-Ad lock—the same mechanism that's survived decades of torture testing and real-world deployment. Ambidextrous thumb studs and dual pocket clips round out a folder designed for users who need performance without compromise.
Available in drop-point and tanto configurations, with Lite versions for those who prefer a lighter carry weight.
