The Demko AD20 CXT brings Andrew Demko's Shark Lock mechanism to a bold barong blade shape, giving hard-use folder fans a knife built for heavy field and utility work.

Blade

The 3.5" barong blade is made from CPM-3V steel with a stonewash finish and measures a robust 0.250" thick. 3V is a high-toughness tool steel that resists chipping and breaking far better than most stainless options, while still holding a solid working edge. The barong profile carries a wide, forward-weighted belly that adds cutting power for chopping and slicing through tough material.

Handle

Blue G-10 scales cover the handle, a fiberglass laminate material valued for being lightweight, impervious to moisture, and grippy even in wet conditions. At 8.15oz and 0.650" thick, the handle has a substantial, secure feel in hand.

Carry

The Shark Lock is a button-actuated locking system that engages a sturdy internal lock bar, offering strong blade retention with fast, easy one-hand closing - it is a manual folder, not an automatic. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only.
