The Demko AD20 CXT brings Andrew Demko's Shark Lock system to a barong-style blade built for serious cutting tasks. This is a hard-use folder for those who want a large, robust blade with a lock mechanism that's easy to operate with either hand.

Blade

The 3.5" barong blade is made from CPM-3V steel with a stonewash finish at .250" thick. 3V is a high-toughness tool steel prized for resisting chips and rolls under hard use while still holding a good working edge - a common choice for knives expected to see abuse. The barong profile has a forward-swept belly that adds cutting power and a sturdy, elongated tip.

Handle

OD Green G-10 scales cover the handle, which measures 4.25" long and .650" thick. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate valued for its durability, light weight, and secure grip even when wet. The knife weighs 8.15oz, giving it a substantial, hard-use feel in hand.

Carry

The Shark Lock is a lever-actuated locking mechanism that runs along the spine of the handle, allowing fast one-handed opening and closing without pinching the blade. The pocket clip is positioned for right-hand, tip-up carry only.
