The Demko AD20 CXT brings Andrew Demko's Shark Lock mechanism to a Barong blade shape, giving hard-use knife users a folder built for serious cutting tasks without sacrificing a secure lock.

Blade

The 3.5" Barong blade is made from CPM-3V steel with a stonewash finish at .250" thick. 3V is prized for exceptional toughness and impact resistance, making it a favorite for knives that see heavy use without chipping. The Barong profile has a recurved belly that adds slicing power along the forward edge, a shape traditionally used for chopping and draw cuts.

Handle

Red G-10 scales cover the handle, a fiberglass laminate material valued for being lightweight, rigid, and grippy even when wet. At 8.15oz, the knife has enough heft to feel substantial without being cumbersome.

Carry

The Shark Lock is a lever-actuated locking mechanism operated by a rocker on the spine, allowing fast one-hand opening and closing while keeping the blade securely locked during use. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only.
