The AD20 XXX is the largest model in Andrew Demko's modular AD20 platform, built for users who want maximum cutting capability in a folding knife. This is a big knife made to actually perform, with grind geometry engineered so the thick blade still excels at slicing rather than just wedging through material.

Blade

The 4" clip point blade is CPM-3V steel at a substantial .250" thick, finished in stonewash. 3V is prized for its toughness, holding an edge while resisting chipping and rolling even under hard use, making it a strong choice for a knife this large and heavy-duty. The clip point shape keeps a fine, controllable tip while the thick stock adds strength for pushing through difficult materials.

Handle

Titanium handles provide a lightweight yet strong chassis that resists corrosion and holds up to repeated hard use. At 11.25oz, this knife carries substantial heft, in line with its oversized dimensions.

Carry

The Shark Lock is Demko's rotating lock mechanism, engaged by a lever on the spine that locks the blade open with a strong, reliable mechanical bind and disengages by pulling that same lever back. The pocket clip is positioned for right-hand, tip-up carry only.
