The AD20 XXX is the largest model in Demko's modular AD20 platform, built for users who want maximum blade presence without sacrificing cutting performance. Andrew Demko designed this oversized folder with careful attention to grind geometry, so the thick blade still slices efficiently despite its size.

Blade

The 4" clip point blade is CPM-3V steel at a substantial .250" thick, finished in stonewash. 3V is a tough, shock-resistant steel that holds up under hard use while still taking a durable edge, making it a strong choice for a blade this large and thick. The clip point profile keeps a fine, controllable tip for piercing and detail work despite the blade's overall mass.

Handle

Handles are smooth titanium, a lightweight and corrosion-resistant metal that keeps the overall weight manageable at 11.25oz given the knife's size. The 5.5" handle length gives a full, secure grip for larger hands.

Carry

The Shark Lock is Demko's proprietary locking mechanism, offering secure lockup with a distinctive lever-actuated release for smooth one-handed opening and closing. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only.
