3V Shark Lock with Carbon Fiber Handles

The AD20 XXX is the largest model in Demko Knives' AD20 platform, built for users who want maximum blade presence and cutting power in a folding knife. Andrew Demko designed this oversized folder with careful attention to grind geometry, so despite its scale it still performs as a genuine slicer rather than just a display piece.

Blade

The 4" clip point blade is CPM-3V steel finished in stonewash, measuring a substantial .250" thick. 3V is a high-toughness tool steel prized for resisting chips and rolls under hard use while still holding a working edge. The clip point profile gives a fine, controllable tip suited to detail work, while the added blade thickness reinforces the edge for pushing through dense material.

Handle

Textured carbon fiber scales cover the handle, a lightweight woven composite known for its rigidity and durability. Even with a large 5.5" handle and thick .650" profile, the knife weighs 9.25oz, keeping it manageable for a knife of this size.

Carry

The Shark Lock is Demko's own locking mechanism, a variation on the mid-lock design that offers strong lockup with reliable release under pressure. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry.
