3V Shark Lock with Titanium Handles

The AD20 XXX is the largest model in Demko's modular AD20 lineup, built for users who want maximum size without sacrificing cutting performance. Andrew Demko designed this knife with careful attention to grind geometry, so despite its scale it still slices efficiently rather than just being big for the sake of it.

Blade

The 4" clip point blade is made from CPM-3V steel at a thick 0.250", finished with a stonewash coating. 3V is a high-toughness tool steel that resists chipping and rolling under hard use while still holding a solid working edge, making it a common choice for knives expected to push through demanding material. The clip point shape keeps a fine, controllable tip for detail work while the reinforced spine adds strength behind the edge.

Handle

The handle is textured titanium, a lightweight and corrosion-resistant metal that still holds up to hard use without adding excess bulk. At 11.25oz and 0.650" thick, this is a substantial handle built to match the oversized blade.

Carry

The AD20 XXX uses Demko's Shark Lock, a rotating lock design that engages a tooth into the blade tang for secure lockup while remaining easy to disengage with one hand. The pocket clip is set up for right-hand, tip-up carry only.
