What makes the Nano Shark special?

The Nano Shark packs Andrew Demko's legendary Shark-Lock mechanism into a truly compact 5.875-inch folder. At 3.6 ounces with a 2.125-inch CPM20CV blade, it delivers full-size cutting performance in a disappearing EDC package. Same 3.4mm blade thickness as the AD20S Slim, but significantly more pocketable.

How does the Shark-Lock work?

Located on the spine, the Shark-Lock uses a ramped "fin" you pull back to release—keeping fingers out of the blade path. The spring-driven lock arm engages beneath a stop pin set far back from the pivot, redistributing stress into the handle scales for exceptional strength. One-handed operation, self-adjusting wear compensation, smooth action.

CPM20CV vs. AUS10A—which should I choose?

CPM20CV offers exceptional edge retention (180 on the CATRA test vs. 440C's 100) and superior corrosion resistance. Holds an edge for weeks of daily use, but harder to sharpen. AUS10A models are less expensive, easier to sharpen, and ideal for users who prefer frequent touch-ups. Both are legitimate choices depending on your priorities.
