The M2 is a modern redesign of one of Allen Elishewitz’s iconic models from the early to mid-1990s. Like every Elishewitz custom, it is made entirely by Allen in his shop using manual machines—no CNC—with an emphasis on tight tolerances and premium materials. Blade

The 3.75" recurve tanto blade is made from S45VN steel at .160" thick, finished in a two-tone Black Snow and satin combination. S45VN balances strong edge retention with good toughness and corrosion resistance, making it a reliable choice for a working custom blade. The recurve tanto profile adds a reinforced tip and an aggressive curved edge suited to hard use.

Handle

CamoCarbon carbon fiber gives the handle a distinctive layered look while keeping the knife light in the hand. Titanium stand-off spacers create an open-back construction, adding a premium detail and improving cleanability. Overall weight comes in at 4.83oz.

Carry

The M2 runs on a liner lock, where a spring-loaded metal liner shifts behind the blade tang to hold it open securely. It's a proven, simple mechanism that's easy to operate one-handed. A right-hand, tip-up pocket clip keeps the knife accessible and oriented for a quick draw.
